  Erica Carlson, president

  Erica has been involved in the corrosion protection industry since high school. During her senior year, she implemented an innovative and successful telemarketing program for metallic underground storage tanks.

  While attending Augustana College, where she graduated with a bachelor of arts degree, Erica joined Cathodic Protection Management (CPM) in the summers and supported the field staff during the busiest season for outdoor projects. After college, Erica took on a role of greater responsibility as office manager. She focused on growth as part of a team that expanded CPM from a six-person operation to a company that currently employs up to 50 people during the course of the year.

  Banking on valuable experiences and relationships, Erica plans to build CPM Painting/Coating into an industry leader for high-quality coating and related services.

Operator Qualifications

Operator qualifications (OQ) are critical for doing business in our industry. All companies must be operator qualified, which is a constant priority for CPM Painting/Coating. We proactively support continuing education to ensure that all of our field personnel are up to date with regulatory and association requirements.

We consider operator qualifications as transparent information that any client should expect to receive. We are operator qualified in all of our business capabilities including removal of existing material, surface preparation, and coating application.
